Pope Francis confirmed His Visit to Thailand in November 2019

Pope Francis confirmed that he will be visiting Thailand in November 2019. This trip is confirmed by His Grace Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam, presently Apostolic Nuncio in Thailand and Cambodia and Apostolic Delegate in Laos, as Apostolic Nuncio in Myanmar during his meeting with Catholic priests of Mandalay Archdiocese on 25 August 2019 in Mandalay, Myanmar.

His Grace Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam told Mandalay Catholic priests and bishops to pray for successful preparation for visit of Holy Father Pope Francis to Thailand.

Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam, presently Apostolic Nuncio in Thailand and Cambodia and Apostolic Delegate in Laos, as Apostolic Nuncio in Myanmar (Burma) in 2017.

Pope Francis will be the third Pope who visited Thailand the past century. We believe His Holiness trip to Thailand will be his first stop to his visit of Japan in this year.
